The blend of history, culture, and leisurely life creates the unique rhythm of Songshan District, which is vibrant and unique day and night. Given the limited physical size of manhole covers, it is hoped that through an upward perspective and imagining the capturing of a camera's shutter, combined with the brushstrokes of printmaking art, the classic ambience of this livable and pleasant area can be expressed. Furthermore, the Morse code for “Peace” is incorporated within the design, offering an extra touch of pleasant surprise!

This is the only area in Taipei where planes take off daily. As planes cross the sky at dawn, as you amble along the sparkling riverside, as you stroll through the lush green tunnel of the Minsheng Community, as the Taiwan blue magpies fly through your life, you can enjoy a cup of coffee under the shade of the trees. You can also write a poem for yourself and your family in the fragrance of the Chinese hibiscus flowers.

This is SONGSHAN, or Siông-san, a place brimming with love, life, and hope!
