In Waishuang River, located in the Shilin District, one will find abundant natural ecology. Flocks of great egrets feed on the river, flying along the meandering river when they're full, and settling at the Taipei Astronomical Museum, Science Education Center, and Children's Amusement Park near the river's estuary.
